My Borneo expedition – What will I be doing and why

In summer July 2015 I will be going on an expedition to Borneo with a fundraising organisation called Camps International. I will be staying for a month in Borneo where I will be living in a rural community and be working on projects to help improve the lives of the native people. For example building houses, refurbishing schools and teaching English. I will also work on a forest regeneration project and I will get to see some of the amazing wildlife. In addition I will be taking part in a 5 day trek in the dense jungles of Borneo where I hope to see some orangutans!

I need to raise a considerable amount of money (£3960!) to enable this trip to happen and in addition to helping local communities as I have described above, I am sure it will give me some important life skills. In order to raise this money I plan to do a “Three Countries, Three Climbs‘. Therefore any assistance you are able to give me with my on going fundraising initiative will be much appreciated – to donate click here.
